I don’t know about the Sibley who fought under Lincoln, but Trey Shaffer might. I sent him your website link, too. Trey has done the most genealogical work on the Sibley side of the family.
Hope the performance at the Nevada County Fair was all you hoped for! As always, Mom

Hi Doug ~ My name is Pam Sibley and I am the wife of Tim Sibley who is the son of Frank’s son Bill. (OMG I hope that makes sense! 🙂 Anyway your mom had sent the link to your website. I am trying to compile genealogy for Tim’s side of the family and he mentioned that he thought you had done some???? We went back to Nebraska a year ago and I was able to get quite a bit of info from Bill’s new wife Marilyn (what a doll) and would love to continue the quest. My kids Emily 10 and Ross 8 have even started doing research as we found a Corrn. Sibley who fought under Lincoln and invented the “Sibley Stove and Tent. ” Anyways if you would like to get in contact that would be great – we live in Southern Ca. so it sounds like we are just down the road 🙂 Pam
